Here are some helpful learning websites that support the key areas of development in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We hope you and your child have fun discovering and learning together through these activities! 

Communication and Language

Tiny Happy People by the BBC is a helpful resource packed with simple activities, tips, and videos to support children’s language and communication skills from birth to five
The CBeebies website offers fun, educational games, videos, and activities designed to support young children’s learning through play in a safe and interactive way
Audible is a great tool for supporting children's communication and language development, as listening to audiobooks helps build vocabulary, improve listening skills, and spark a love for storytelling
The NSPCC offers resources and guidance to help parents and carers support children's communication and language, especially through activities that encourage talking, listening, and emotional expression in a safe and supportive environment
The Words for Life website, created by the National Literacy Trust, offers fun ideas, tips, and activities to help children develop their language, communication, and literacy skills at every stage of their early development
Phonics Play is an interactive website that offers fun games and activities to help children develop their phonics knowledge, supporting early reading and sound recognition in an engaging way

NRICH offers a wide range of fun, challenging maths activities that help children develop problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and a positive attitude towards maths from an early age

Physical Development 

The Muddy Faces website is a great resource for outdoor learning, offering nature-based activities and tools that encourage children to explore, play, and develop important physical and sensory skills through hands-on experiences
The Dough Disco website combines music and playdough exercises to help children strengthen their fine motor skills, support early writing development, and boost coordination
